Amelia G. Soliz went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the age of 66. She was born on September 15, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Cecilio and Hermelinda Garcia. She resided in Corpus Christi for the majority of her life and was employed as a Manager at Church's Chicken for over 22 years. She was also a member of Cathedral of the Palms (Venture Church) since the 1990s, where she raised her children to put God first and to trust in him above all else.
She is preceded in death by her father and one daughter Anna D. Soliz.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Pedro Soliz; 4 daughters, Alicia Soliz (Bryant) Dawson, Alma (Jason) Chapa, Asaneth (Christopher) Chavez, and Amy M. Soliz; her mother Hermelinda Y. Garcia; one sister Adelina (Robert) Riojas; and one brother Armando (Roseanna) Garcia; ten grand children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Amelia was an avid churchgoer and would tell anyone who would listen about the great things that God had done in her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
