Adelia Almanza Aguilar

Adelia Almanza Aguilar was born on March 6,1930, and passed away June 12, 2021. She was 91 years old.
Adelia was born, raised and lived most of her life in Taft, Texas. She was a wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Valentin and Prescilliana Almanza, her brothers, Rudolpho Almanza, Johnny Almanza (Celeste), Armando Almanza; sisters Maria Heinemann (John), and Angelina Garcia (Tony).
She is survived by her children, Ricardo Umbarger, Jesus J. Aguilar (Naomi), Priscilla Vera (Ramiro) and Dora J. Sturgeon (Ulmer). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Megan, Joseph, Quentin, Richard, Brandon, Rita, Rhianna and Jacqueline.
She is survived also by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation, the American Heart Association, and the Catholic Charities USA.

Services will be as follows:
Viewing, Rosary and Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Portland, Texas with burial at the Lamas Memorial Park Cemetery in Taft, Texas.
