Allison Jeannette Polsinelli, 76, went home to her Jord Jesus Christ on April 6, 2022. Born in Boise, Idaho and raised in Portland, Oregon, she later lived in California, Japan and Ohio before moving to Rockport 21 years ago. She was Pastor of Come As You Are Worship Center at 4851 N. Hwy 35 for ten years when she and her husband owned Rockport 35 RV Park. She was an evangelist for her faith throughout her life.
Allison embraced life and its challenges using her skills and mind to accomplish some amazing results. Many were for her own satisfaction of a job well done or for praising her Lord. An accomplished musician, she produced an album of "Traditional Gospel Hymns" that she arranged, played all the instruments via the synthesizer, sang the different vocal parts and put the tracks together to complete the album and then produced 100 copies for our church members.
She loved to sing and to get other people singing. When we owned the RV Park, she assembled an impromptu Choir of our Winter Texans that was just weeks old to perform at Rockport's Gospel Fest.
She is a published author. Her book, Bible Reflections was sold thru Amazon, Barnes and Nobel among other outlets.
She lived her life with contagious passion. She danced with all her strength, especially the Tango. She sang with all her heart. Her love was encompassing and her faith in Jesus was unquenchable.
Allison was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Granville Light; sisters: Colleen Maxwell and Judy Dear.
She is survived by her husband, Tony Polsinelli; her sons: Tedd Petruna and his wife Tammy and her son Jason Petruna; her sister, Harriet Light and many nieces and nephews.
An online Memorial Page is available thru her Facebook page and thru her husband's Facebook page.
