Amalia "Molly" Salazar, age 66, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on March 11, 2024. Molly was born on February 7, 1958, to Odilon Manuel Jimenez and Delia Jimenez. She was a graduate of Mary Carroll H. S. and received her bachelor's degree from TAMU-CC.
Molly enjoyed gardening, reading, art, and spending time with her family. She made friends with everyone she encountered. Molly was known for her magnetic smile and her great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed.
Molly was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Dr. Mario (Nelda) Jimenez, Jesse Jimenez, and Ricardo Jimenez.
She is survived by her husband Larry Myers, her children Juan (Loriana) Salazar, Isabel Salazar, Beto (Song Mayo) Jimenez; her grandchildren Juan (Crystal) Salas, Sela Salas, Michael Salas, Sean Batt, Celine Batt, Liam Salazar, and Elijah Salazar; her great granddaughter Rosa Salas; her brother Fred (Laura) Jimenez and her sisters, Rosa (Michael) Washburn, Delma Jimenez, Gloria (Nick) Garcia, Anna Jimenez, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held for Molly on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM at St. Teresa located at 1302 Lantana St.
