Anthony (Tony) John Mello Jr.

It is with heavy hearts we announce that Anthony (Tony) John Mello Jr. passed away on March 6th 2024, a beloved father and son.

Tony Jr. was born in Reno, Nevada on February 2nd, 1966 and graduated from Robert McQueen High School in Reno Nevada, 1984.

Tony Jr. was a talented drummer and proud member of the band "Metal Minded" in the 80's/90's and was very passionate about music, among other things like motor sports. He was adventurous and lively, and has touched many lives with his kindness. He will be in our hearts forever.

Tony Jr. moved to Corpus Christi Texas in 2015 to join his daughter Olivia R. Mello.

He is survived by his immediate family, his mother, Vivian A. Mello of Reno Nevada, his brother, Micheal John Mello of Reno, Nevada, his son, Alec R. Mello of Reno, Nevada, and his daughter, Olivia R. Mello, of Ingleside, Texas.

A "celebration of life" will be held later this year in Reno Nevada.
