Antonio Rios, age 70, passed away on September 10, 2021. Antonio was born on September 18, 1950 in Valle Hermoso, Mexico to Oralia Gonzalez and Antonio Rios Galvez.
He came to Corpus Christi at the age of 14. He became a successful master carpenter and businessman.
No matter the circumstances, Antonio always loved his family unconditionally and he remained loyal and true to each and every one of them. He was loved by many for his loving and caring heart, his hilarious dance moves, his obsession with always capturing the moment with either a photo or video, his contagious smile and laugh, but most of all for his wise words and advice. Antonio enjoyed fishing, bingo, gambling at casinos and having breakfast with his family every morning. He will always be remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, cousin and friend.
Antonio is preceded in death by his loving parents and his brother, Ricardo Rios.
Antonio is survived by his loving wife, Adriana Rios, his daughters Isabel Buenrostro (Jesus) and Irene Martinez (Jerald Ceballos), his sons Juan Rios (Jessica) and Luis Rios (Lupita), his stepsons Jonathan De La Torre and Will Crisantes, Jr. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Roberto Rios, Jorge Rios, Jesus Rios and Alfredo Rios, his sisters Ludy Lerma, Sara Rodriguez, and Reyna Benitez, an uncle and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Services for Antonio Rios will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 South Padre Island Drive Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
Viewing will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 11:00 AM. Holy Mass will follow immediately after the rosary.
