Arturo Vasquez

Arturo "Art" Vasquez Jr. (64), passed away in Corpus Christi, Texas, on September 30, 2024.

Remembered by his acumen in auto-mechanics, passion for the culinary arts, and an unmatched ability to make a friend out of anyone, Art's memory will be kept alive through his loved ones.

Art was born on March 2, 1960, to Arturo Vasquez Sr. and Angelina Rivera in Sinton, Texas. He was raised by Mariano and Elvira Adame Reyes, and graduated from Taft High School. On December 15, 1990, he married Robin Collins and the following year on March 11, 1991, his daughter Shelby Lynn was born.

He is survived by his daughter, his siblings Esther, Annie, Ricky, David and Albert, and his loving stepmother Minnie. He is predeceased by his parents, grandparents, Tia Beatrice and brother Javier.
