Aurora Garcia, 82, passed away on October 11, 2022, in Corpus Christi, TX.

Aurora Garcia was born on April 3, 1940 in Odem, TX, to Juan Gomez and Nasaria Gomez.
Aurora attended Odem High School in Odem, Texas. She spent most of her life caring for her family as a homemaker.

Aurora married Santos Garcia Sr. on April 12th, 1998 in Corpus Christi, Texas. The couple had 4 children, Donna Pena, Alexander Baldemar Garcia, Charles Gilbert Garcia, Santos Garcia Jr.

Aurora was best known for watching old black and white movies, listening to Tejano music such as songs from Yolanda del Rio, watching Walker Texas Ranger(she loved Chuck Norris). She also enjoyed completing cross word puzzles and coloring with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with family. She was very well known for her snappy comebacks and spicy personality. She always knew how to make her family laugh and make conversations interesting. Aurora loved her family dearly and was very nurturing and loving to her family.

Aurora is survived by Donna Pena - daughter, Alexander Garcia - son, Charles Gilbert Garcia - son, Santos Garcia Jr. - son, Amanda Marie Rodriguez - granddaughter, McKayla Lynn Pena - granddaughter, Lyana Marie Rodriguez - great-granddaughter.

Aurora is preceded in death by Santos Garcia Sr. - spouse, Juan Gomez - father, Nasaria Gomez - mother

There will be no formal services or visitation held for Aurora.
