Betressa Diane Blackwell

Betressa Diane Blackwell, age 61, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 17, 2022.

Diane was born in Comanche, Texas, to Wendell Chappell and Barbara Chappell on July 29, 1960.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell Owen Chappell, her mother Barbara Young, and brother Allon Chappell.

Diane married Jeffrey Blackwell in July 1985 in San Diego, CA. The couple had two children, Jeffrey Allon and Jessica Lynn.

Diane is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Blackwell; son, Jeffrey Allon (Megan) Blackwell, her daughter, Jessica Blackwell McBride; aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends, and two granddaughters, Brianne Blackwell and Lily Hamilton, who lovingly called her Nana. Nana's greatest joy in life was spending time with her two loving granddaughters, Lily and Brianne.
