Obituary
Bill was a fix it all man. He was widely known around Central Texas for his many years as an auto glass installer. As an entrepreneur, Bill started and ran Bill's Auto Glass for many years. Bill moved around for a while searching for a new career as an insurance adjuster. He spent time in Florida, then South Texas and eventually landed in Port Aransas. With Bill's love for deep sea fishing and the beach life, he started and ran Bill's Cart Repair. Bill is known all over the island and made many, many friends while in Port Aransas.
Bill was preceded in death by his faithful companion Lucy, father Gene McClain, mother Joann McClain and nephew, Justin Johnson.
Survivors include his Sister, Tina (Billy) Johnson of China Spring,Tx. Sons: Bobby McClain of Aquilla, Texas. Brent (Kayla) McClain of Valley Mills,Texas. Daughter: Brandy (James) Burt and of Valley Mills, Texas; grandsons; Rodee McClain and Tripp McClain. Granddaughters: Lacee Dudik, Rylee McClain, Kaylee, Baylee, and Dallee Burt.
Two great granddaughters and Nephew, Cody Johnson.
Family, friends and acquaintances will gather Sunday, February 12, 2023 at China Spring Tabernacle 127 Ford St. China Spring TX 76633 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM to share their treasured memories of Bill.
At a future date and time to be announced, there will be a gathering of friends and family on the island in Port Aransas, Texas to celebrate Bill's life.
