Claire Essing, 70, passed away on April 24, 2024, in Corpus Christi TX.

Claire Essing was born on July 20, 1953 in Corpus Christi, TX, to Kenneth Wavell and Cecile Wavell.

Claire graduated from Ray High School in 1971 .She started her career as a Real Estate Agent and went on to work for Group One Real Estate for 28 years.

Claire married Charles Essing in Corpus Christi Texas. This November 1st 2024 would have been there 54th wedding anniversary. The couple have 2 children, Charles Essing III and Lena Essing- Comstock.

Claire was best known for her cooking and her love for her grandchildren.

Claire is survived by her husband, Charles Essing of Corpus Christi, her son Charles Essing and her daughter, Lena Essing-Comstock.

Claire is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Wavell, her mother Cecile Wavell, and her brother Arthur Wavell.

The service for Claire Essing will be held on Monday June 3rd, at 3:00 PM at Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. Reception will follow in the home of Mark and Zoe Gottlich.

Memorial donations can be made in Claire's name to Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church Corpus Christi, Texas.
