Cynthia graduated from Aransas Pass High School in 1968, then she went on to earn her LVN certification in Nursing from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1974. After 25-plus years of nursing, she retired and moved on to work in the Rockport ISD school system as a School Nurse.

Cynthia married Dennis Allen Weable on March 15, 1981, and they remained married for 35 years. Cynthia has 3 children, Lori Brown (Armstrong), Brett Baustan, and Michael Brown. Cynthia was best known for her love of her community, kindness, and love for anyone she knew. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Aransas Pass, Texas, where she worked for a while in the church nursery taking care of kids, one of her favorite things in this world.
