Elizabeth Barrera

Elizabeth Barrera, age 72, passed away on August 5, 2023 surrounded by her family. Elizabeth was born in Corpus Christi, TX to Antonio Barrera and Nettie Barrera.

She was preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Nettie Barrera, brothers Antonio Barrera, Hinio Barrera Sr. and sister Ester Lopez.

She is survived by her children Margarito Barraza III (Laura Barraza), Michele Reeves (Jason Reeves), Christina Barraza (Frank Guerrero) Brenda Barraza and her 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, siblings, neices and nephews.

Elizabeth will remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved to collect antiques, jewelry, purses and betty boop. She also enjoyed watching sci-fi movies, the Golden Girls and Perry Mason. She loved going out to eat at Luby's and Snapkas Drive Inn. She will also be remembered for her sense of humor and wittiness.

The grave site services for Elizabeth Barrera will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St. Corpus Christi, Texas 78408 in the St. Patrick Garden.
