Erica (Trevino) Luera

Erica Luera went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 26, 2021.  She was 51 years old.  Erica, was born to Candido Trevino Jr and Nidia Trevino in Taft, Texas on August 17, 1970.  She grew up in Taft, Texas, where she met the love of her life, Eugene.    She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend; she will forever be cherished by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father Candido Trevino, Jr.

Erica leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband of 29 years Eugene Luera, her two amazing children, John Anthony Luera and Marissa Luera, her beautiful mother Nidia Trevino, along with her wonderful siblings, Candido Trevino III, Lionel Trevino, Monica Trevino and Veronica (Felix) Figueroa.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church in Taft, Texas.   Viewing will begin at 9:00 AM with a Rosary to begin at 10:00 AM, with a Holy Mass to will follow. Interment will follow at Lamas Cemetery.
