Evangelina B. (Benavides) Cardenas

Evangelina "Eva" B. Cardenas, 92 years of age passed away peacefully at home in Katy, TX after a long illness with diamentia. She was a life long resident of San Diego Tx. She was also a member of St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jesus C. Cardenas, parents Santos and Carolina Benavides and son Rogelio Cardenas. Two sister (Maria, Gloria)and four brothers(Santos, Tito, Beto, Baldimar)

Survivors include, five daughters. Rosalinda (Celestino) Perez, Pasadena TX. Cynthia (Steven) Harris, Hockley TX. Georgiana (Alireza) Lescokelayah, Houston TX. Irma Cadena, (Nathan Harris), Katy TX. Yvette Cardenas, Katy TX.  Also left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Roel Cardenas, San Diego TX. Rolando (Sylvia) Cardenas, San Diego TX. and her three brothers, Tano (Nelda) Benavides, Alice TX. Ruben Benavides, Alice TX. Juvenal Benavides of San Diego TX, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday November 3, 2023 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church beginning with visitation from 9:30 Am - 10:30 AM.  The recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM followed by mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow immediately after mass.
