Fabian Ramirez, a proud veteran of the Navy-USN, DD-214, Rank AT3, and longtime resident of Sinton Texas, passed away on September 9, 2021 surrounded by family. Fabian was born September 13, 1971 to Gloria Uribe Ramirez and late Juan G Ramirez. After graduating from Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, Fabian enlisted in the U.S. Navy. While enlisted he received the following military education: AV “A” School, 26 weeks, October 1991; AFTA “A” School, 11 weeks, February 1992. The US Navy recognized AT3 Ramirez for his honorable service with The National Defense Service Medal. AT3 Ramirez was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy April 1994. Fabian then continued a career in the HVAC Industry and was self-employed in Sinton, Texas.
Fabian is preceded in death by his wife Emily Burgess, brother David James Ramirez and father Juan G Ramirez. He is survived by his girlfriend Cindy Garcia, mother Gloria Uribe Ramirez, three sons: Gabriel Anthony Ramirez, Joseph Ryan Ramirez, and David James Ramirez, two daughters: Alyssa Renae Ramirez and Hannah Rose Ramirez, two brothers John J. (Stacy) Ramirez, Johnny G Ramirez Jr. and two sisters: Mary Ramirez and Priscilla (Joshua) Tyler. He had one granddaughter, Ariana Rose Ramirez. Fabian was also a proud uncle to all his nephews and nieces.
His family has organized a memorial service to honor Fabian’s life and military service, which will be held at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, 3350 S Alameda St., Corpus Christi, TX 78411, on September 17, 2021. Viewing will begin at 1:00 pm with Rosary at 2:00 pm and mass to follow at 2:30 pm.
