GREGORY BABBITT Obituary

Gregory Wayne Babbitt went to be home with Jesus on July 20, 2021 at the age of 67 years old after a brief but very hard fight. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 42 years Priscilla Babbitt, his 3 children who he adored and was so very proud of; daughter Jennifer Wehman (John), son Jeffery Panknin (Lacie), and son David Babbitt (Heather). He is also survived by his most favorite people - his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rabon Robertson, Macey Furr (Nick), Madalyn Panknin, Abigail Panknin, Megan Panknin, Elijah Marquez, Caleb Marquez, Levi Marquez, Autumn Panknin, Olive Panknin, Brooklyn Babbitt, and Noah Babbitt; and 3 great-grands, Heinrich Furr, Emrie Furr and Dietrich Furr.
Greg is number 2 child out of 8, he is survived by his 4 brothers Mark Babbitt (Ann), Bruce Babbitt (Janice), John Babbitt (Tara), and Matthew Babbitt (Dorthea) and 3 sisters Cynthia Harris (Terry), Melody Kidwell (Rick), and Susan Hundl (Michael) along with numerous nieces and nephews that he loved and cherished.
He is preceded death by his parents Ernest Dell Babbitt and Betty Joann Babbitt.
Gregory was born on February 1, 1954 in Beaumont, TX. He graduated from Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, TX and then joined the Army where he spent time in Germany. Once he completed his time serving our country he went to school and learned the trade of machinery.
While attending Faith Temple Church he met Priscilla and her 2 children Jennifer & Jeff; and soon after he married her and her package deal! Soon after, David was born!
Greg began working at Corpus Christi Army Depot where he retired after 31 years of faithful service.
After retiring he spent his days playing with his grandkids and enjoyed fishing with his son David. Greg loved the Lord with every ounce of his being and was a faithful servant of Jesus for his entire life. His legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
