Geraldine (Krail) Kunkle

Geraldine Elizabeth Kunkle was born on September 19, 1947 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. She walked into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 13, 2022.

Gerrie graduated in 1966 from Pennsylvania School for the deaf in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduation she worked for Westinghouse on the assembly line.

She married David Kunkle in January 1971 and started a family. She enjoyed volleyball, bowling and playing cards with friends and family. The care and love she put into her family was incredible. She had so much love and wisdom for every situation. She had a terrific sense of humor; was quick witted, and very funny. Her retirement years were enjoyed with great friends at Sunny Ridge retirement village in Hurst, Texas. She enjoyed going out to eat, having potlucks, puzzling, and crocheting. She moved to Port Aransas, Texas in 2018 where she loved the beach, sea shelling and bonfires.

Gerrie was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Kunkle.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly, Robin, Katie and Jody. She loved her grandchildren William, Mason, Carson, Dilan, Blake, James, Gunner and Kayden.
