Gregorio Gonzales

Gregorio Gonzales (Goyo), 56, of Mathis, TX, was called to be with the Lord on January 21, 2024.

Greg was born on December 12, 1967, to Henry Gonzales and Elisa Gonzales in Sinton, TX.

Greg was known for his positive attitude, being a cook enthusiast, spending time with family, loved laughing, and spending time on the beach. He took pride working on his pickup truck. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, contagious laughter, humble heart and the love he had for his family.

Greg is survived by his children: Mayra Gonzales of Batesville, TX, Kayla Medina and Gina Gonzales of La Pryor, TX and Kaitlyn Gonzales of Mathis, TX, Father Henry Gonzales and stepmother Concepcion Gonzales of Mathis, TX, sisters: Lillian G. Garza from Atascosa, TX, Marie Martinez, Eugena Torres, Janie Arellano of Mathis, TX, Michael Hinojosa of San Antonio, TX, Annette Torres of Olivia, MN, Monica Terrazas and husband Robert Terrazas of Batesville, TX, Joshua Gonzales of Houston, TX and Andrew Gonzales of San Antonio, TX. Greg is also survived by grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Our family is grateful to know that he is at peace and has joined his beloved son Gregorio "Moji" Gonzales Jr, Mother Elisa Gonzales, brother Rudy Gonzales, brother Andres Amador and nephew Matthew "Pokie" Martinez.

Greg's celebration of life will be scheduled privately at a later date.
