Gwen's life shone with her sunny disposition, deep love for her family and an artistic ability that she developed throughout her life. After Gwen graduated from high school, she was hired as a seamstress for the Shakespearian Company to make costumes for the actors. She continued with artistic abilities as a picture framer, painter, and pencil artist.
Gwen was also a co-owner of Hansen Plastics for many years working in every aspect of the business. During these last several years while living in Corpus Christi, Gwen developed the professional ability to throw pots. Her pottery was extraordinary as was her relationship to the artists at the Art Center of Corpus Christi. Gwen's other great interests were traveling and adventures and catching big fish. She went many places in the world with Bob and was very involved with Sisters-On-the-Fly, traveling with her RV or camper to great destinations. Her most loved activities were being with her children, grandchildren, partner, and siblings.
