Jaime Jimenez, 74, passed away on July 11, 2025, in San Antonio, TX surrounded by his family.
Jaime Jimenez was born on December 21, 1950 in Gregory, TX, to Julian Jimenez and Delfina Jimenez.Jaime graduated from Gregory-Portland High School in 1970. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He began working at Priday Farm following in his dad's footsteps. He continued his farming career also working with Hoskinson's Farm until his death. He was also an avid hunter who found peace in the outdoors. Jaime was a passionate sportsman. From a young age, he played baseball and football in high school and carried that same Wildcat spirit throughout his life.
He had a light hearted side too; he enjoyed trying his luck at the slot machines and never missed a chance to share a laugh with his family. But more than anything, he loved his family deeply. His greatest joy was being surrounded by those he cared for the most.
He will be remembered for his strength, his stories, his laughter, and the love he gave so freely. He also enjoyed spending time with his close friends. His legacy of loyalty, courage and kindness will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.
Jaime is preceded in death by his parents Julian and Delfina Jimenez and his brother Miguel Jimenez.
Jaime is survived by his wife Blanca and his children Janie (Rene) Garcia, Jennifer (Lawrence) Green, Jaime Tomas Jimenez Jr. (JT), Norma (Joey) Lozano all of Gregory, TX. Also survived by his brother Bernardo (Santa) Jimenez and sister Estella Rodriguez. His grandchildren Anthony Lozano, Justin (Maria) Lozano, Nicole Lozano, Isela Lozano, Jelena (Sam) Garza, Bianca Lozano, Jayden Lozano, and three great grandsons, AJ Alvarado, Jalen Lozano and Luke Lozano. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews that he loved as his own.
The visitation for Mr. Jaime Jimenez will be on Monday, July 21st at Immaculate Conception Church (107 Church St.) in Gregory, TX at 6:00 pm followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm.
Mass will be held at 10:00 on Tuesday, July 22nd. Followed by a burial at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37 Access Rd. Corpus Christi, TX) at 2:00 pm.
