James Rollin, 55, passed away on April 16, 2025, in Ingleside, TX.
James was born on September 24, 1969 in Livonia, MI, to James Rollin Sr and Janet Galbreath.
James never had children but that didn't stop the love that he had for them. He would have just as much fun wrestling on the floor with them as he did hanging out with his own crowd. He loved rock music and was an avid concert goer. He enjoyed the waters of the South Texas coast. He enjoyed the beach and really had a knack for fishing. Especially spending many cold nights fishing for flounder. He loved BBQs with his friends and family. Fireworks on the 4th of July, and was the founding member of the beloved Fort of Aransas. Later in life he found a passion for searching out history by metal detecting. Or as he liked to say "dirt fishing". He found many interesting items in his adventures, but just really enjoyed the history of the areas he would metal detect in. He was a (3rd generation) plumber by trade, and was extremely proud of that. He loved serving his community and helping anyone he could. He will be sorely missed by all who loved, respected, and took time to know him.
James is survived by his sisters Roberta Gauthier and Victoria Stiffley and his 2 nieces, Ann Haechten and Makayla Azhari.
James is preceded in death by his mother Janet Galbreath and his step-father Robert Gauthier
