James Ronald Jones

James R. Jones II (Jim), age 61, passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2024.

James was born on January 15, 1963 in Corpus Christi, TX to James Jones and Blair Jones. He graduated from Gregory-Portland High School in 1982.

James was a man of many trades when it came to work. More times than not, he was a truck driver. He had more downs than ups in his life. But one thing that remained a constant was his love for his daughters. They were his everything and he made sure everyone knew it. He also loved being "Grampy" to his 3 grandchildren who absolutely adored him.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Ronald Jones.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Blair F. Jones, his sisters, Christine Tuttle (Benson) and Tita Owen (Clay), his daughters, Alyssa Waddups (Brad) and Amy Jones (Ram), his grandchildren, Kayden (7), Paxton (6), Madison (5). As well as, his niece, Kim Hardwick (Jarrett) and nephews, Will Owen and Ronnie Owen (Amanda).

A celebration of the life for James Jones will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the home of his daughter, Alyssa. Please contact Alyssa if you would like to attend.
