Grateful for a life well lived, our mom, Janet J. Hockett (Cook), went to be with the Lord on 1/21/24.
Mom was born in Coos Bay, Oregon on 9/29/1948 to Robert M. Cook and Norma J. Cook (Marquardt). She had three loving daughters, Jacqueline Hall, Jami Rogge, and Teri Nicholas.
She later met the love of her life, Leon S. Hockett. They married in 1993. Together they spent their years traveling, work camping and enjoying time with their family and friends. Together they had two son-in-laws Michael Hall and Eddie Rogge. They had eleven grandchildren, Megan, Joshua, Peyton, Elijah, Taylor, Lauryn, Jordan, Sidney, Brad, Brian and Rachelle. They also had many great grandchildren.
Mom had a great love of the beach and ocean. Later in life, she moved to Corpus Christi, Texas with Jami and Eddie where she able to enjoy some of her last few months at the ocean and beach.
Thank you for all the wonderful memories. So thankful you are with God, healthy and whole.
