Janet Mae (Madole) Tackitt

Janet Mae Tackitt, 83 was called Home on April 1, 2024 in Corpus Christi, Tx. Janet was born on December 04, 1940 in Oelwein, Iowa to Lavern Madole & Laura Mae Clark. Jan was the eldest of 5 children; Jimmy, Jerry, Joann & Jenean. She was an adorable, intelligent and happy baby and as she grew, relished giving her younger siblings a hard time. She ruled the two boys with an iron fist. There are many stories one could tell about Jan, among them her marriage in 1956 in which she bore 6 children; Debra, Pam, Michael, Monty, Cindy and Susan, who died as a baby. She was deeply loved by a special few; among them her beloved surviving sisters Joann and Jenean. Jan leaves behind five children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her father, mother, two brothers, husband and two grandsons.
