Jason Petruna, 50, passed away on May 22, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Jason Petruna was born on May 29, 1974 in Elyria, OH, to Ted Petruna and Allison Patruna.
Jason graduated from Oberlin High School in 1992 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts from Johnson and Wells University in 1994. Jason had many successful years as a Chef; however, after 20 years, he decided to become a Journeyman electrician. He joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and worked 10 years in that career.
Jason married Lisa Patruna Champagne, Illinois in 2007.
Jason was best known for his love of cooking and football (both as a high school player and an ardent fan of Michigan State University. He played drums and base guitar, and was an accomplished ice sculptor. He also had a passion and love of animals. His boxer, Conan and Siamese cat-Princess, were the loves of his life.
Jason is survived by wife Lisa Patruna, his father Ted Petruna, his brother Ted Petruna, his sister-in-law, Tammy Petruna, and his step-father, Anthony Polsinelli.
Jason is preceded in death by his mother, Allison Petruna Polsinelli.
