Jimmie Lee Sikes

Jimmie was a Marine, Husband, and Father for over 80 years.

Jimmie was born in Crowell, TX. Guyton Webb & Mary L. Sikes Father and Mother. He Was raised in Quanah, TX. for 18 years .

He precedes his wife Sherry Sikes and 3 sons; Guyton Ben Sikes of Amboy, Illinois with wife Cindy, daughter Izzy, son Nathan, Tomy Sikes with Melissa Harrell and her three children, Michael Sikes & wife Mary Beth Young Sikes and his son Jerimiah Sikes.

Jimmie & Sherry lived in Ingleside, TX. at his passing. They raised their sons in North Carolina and Springfield Missouri. They lived in Missouri for 35 years.

Jimmie joined the Marine Corps. at 18 yrs. in 1960 and retired from the Marines in 1980 at Camp LeJeune, N.C.

He Worked 20yrs. at a Stainless Steel plant in Springfield, MO and Retired in 2001.

In 2003 Jimmie & Sherry decided to become Full Time RVer's. They sold their house and belongings and They traveled all over the United States and visited the Grandkids every few months.

They ended up in Texas for the warm weather and Jimmie loved fishing the Gulf Waters & deep sea fishing. He was a True Texan at Heart.

His boys and families came down in the last days of his life and visited with their Dad. They Loved and Honored him in the highest way. He was a Great Inspiration to t hem.

What was important to Jimmie, was his family most of all.

He will be missed by everyone that has made his aquaintance. Everyone thought of him highly.
