Joan DiNovo (nee Casey), 82, passed away on Saturday, April 23rd, in Corpus Christi, TX.
Joan was born in Evansville, IN and lived most of her life in the Chicagoland area and her retired years in Coloma, MI.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; her mother Elsie; her father George; brothers George (Bill) & Michael (Mike) and sisters Margaret (Marge) Deutscher (husband Robert); Betty Piper (husband George) and Carol Whitlock (husband Claude).
Joan is survived by her sister Marion Cusimano (husband Anthony [deceased]); son Albert (Mike) Olson (wife Lois); granddaughter Nicole Olson; great granddaughter Arianna Guzman; step grandchildren Dawn and Mick Sakalas and step great-grandsons, Mickey, Jimmy and Jon Sakalas. She is also survived by several nieces: Terrie Gustafson (nee Piper - husband Keith); Georgia Charapata (nee Piper - husband Frank); Melodye Queen (nee Cusimano - husband Robert); Tammy Altobello (nee Cusimano - husband Mike); Toni Cusimano; Michele Ruckman (nee Casey - husband Scott); and Lisa Haubenreiser (nee Casey - husband Matt); nephews: Wayne Piper; Claude (Billy) Whitlock; Mark Whitlock (wife Kelly) and several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
