Jonathan Alexander, 36, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Corpus Christi, TX.

Jonathan Alexander was born on January 9, 1989 in Lake Charles, LA, to John Jenkins and Sandra Alexander.

Jonathan graduated from LaGrange High School in 2008. He started his career in various Food Service roles. He was a manager at Little Caesar's and also worked at Kroger's. Jonathan worked in various other fields - primarily in construction roles. Jonathan's last job role was as a Home Health Provider.

Jonathan was best known for his artwork, his ability to make a friend wherever he went, making people laugh, being a very protective brother/uncle and always lending a helping hand to anyone in need.

Jonathan is survived by his loving siblings Calandra Carter - sister & godmother, of Marietta, GA; Lawrence Alexander - brother, of Rosamond, CA; Kimberly Thomas - sister, of Lawrenceville, GA; and Michael Lewis - brother, of Lake Charles, LA.

Left to cherish his memory are his nieces Stephanie Druilhet (Jonathan, Sr), Alexandra Carter, Kiana Cyan Carter, Samara Booker, Gabrielle Booker all of Lake Charles, LA; nieces Gracelynn Alfred and Ariyah Thomas of Lawrenceville, GA; nephew Nero Alexander of Rosamond, CA; and great-nephew Jonathan Druilhet, Jr. of Lake Charles, LA.

Also left to cherish his memory are John Jenkins, his father, of Houston, TX and Steven Carter, his brother-in-law and childhood guardian after our mother passed - as well as many other family members and friends.

Jonathan is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Alexander.

A private memorial service will be held in Lake Charles, LA.

Jonathan, our adventurous and fearless brother and uncle, will be forever cherished and remembered within all of our memories and love forever in our hearts.

We find comfort in knowing he is at peaceful rest with our beloved mommy!

Jonathan's notable interests, activities, hobbies, or passions: Enjoying time to create beautiful art works for friends and family, exploring various outdoor scenes especially in great weather, taking pictures while being outdoors, traveling to new places to explore, visiting with family and friends, and always helping others.

Memorable moments and achievements: Jonathan and his brother, Michael, drew and painted a large wall mural when they were very young teenagers! After the hurricanes of 2020, Jonathan could be found assisting different families helping to rebuild/repair their homes and fences all around the Lake Charles area. He loved spending time with his family, especially for holidays and special occasions - and if Chinese food was involved, you could definitely count on Jonathan being there! Jonathan was so giving of himself, his resources and his time to help others. He will be missed greatly but never forgotten!
