Jose Rosas

Jose Rosas, 60, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2024 at home.

Jose Rosas was born on December 28, 1963 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Jose graduated from Miller High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. Jose was honorably discharged after four years of dedicated service. Soon after, he began his career in retail for Randall's and went on to work for thirteen years before moving on to a career in electronics manufacturing and finally spent the last ten years of his career as a safety officer.

Nineteen years ago, Jose married Dora Rosas in Bryan, Texas. He had one child, Joseph Rosas with his first wife, Linda Kelly.

Jose was best known for his love of football, especially the San Francisco 49ers.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Dora Rosas, and his son, Joseph Rosas. Jose is also survived by 3 stepsons, 7 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He also has seven nieces and seven nephews, five sisters and three brothers.

Jose is preceded in death by his brothers Norberto, and Jessie.

The Celebration of Life for Jose Rosas will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at St Patrick's Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 11:30 with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 1:30 PM. A funeral mass will begin immediately after the recitation of the Holy Rosary.

Interment will be held at the Coastal Bend State Veteran's Cemetery at a later date and time.
