Jose (Joe) Eduardo Villarreal passed away on May 29th, 2021 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born on March 19, 1959 to Jose S. Villarreal and Maria Agedita Ramirez Villarreal in Raymondville Texas.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, his brother George R Villarreal, and his sister Angie Villarreal. He is survived by sisters Avelina Villarreal and Sylvia (Randy) Wilson; nieces Eliza Salazar and Gabriella (Adrian) Ochoa; nephews Michael (Jessica) Villarreal, Dan (June) Villarreal, Nick (Keisha) Villarreal), and Diego (Priscilla) Villarreal; and numerous great nephews & nieces, cousins and friends.
Joe was an honest hard working employee who gave all that he could from assisting Security personnel or working the "hurricane" shifts while working in the Maintenance Departments for Doctors Regional Medical Center and Driscoll Childrens' Hospital for over 30 years. He enjoyed Tejano music and hanging out with his "Joe" friends.
There will be a private family service at the family grave site at Memory Gardens Cemetry, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. Donations to American Diabetes Association appreciated in lieu of flowers.
