Judy Barry passed away, with family by her side, on January 5, 2022 at the young age of 59. Judy and her twin sister, Trudy, were born on January 18, 1962 in Rupert, Idaho.
Summer of 1977, in Lamar, Missouri, Judy laid eyes on a handsome young man, Jeff "Louie" Soma. Two years later, the two became husband and wife. Soon after, the newlyweds packed up their things and headed for Texas to start their family.
Judy enjoyed spending precious time with her family and grandchildren. She fought a long, hard, and courageous battle with cancer and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her Dad and Mom, Frank Lawson and Doris Lawson. She is also preceded in death by her children's Dad, Jeffrey Soma.
She is survived by her children Jeremy (Kay) Soma, Jessica Pritchard (Adrian Flores) and Justin Soma (Amanda Stucky); grandchildren Kaija Soma, Jaelyn Pritchard, Jaxon Pritchard and Emi Stucky; sisters Trudy Maggard, Tracy Boyd, Donna James and Kay Tilton; brothers Ronnie Lawson, Darrell Lawson, Rusty Lawson and Frank Ambler; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
