Karen Rosalyn Evans

Karen Rosalyn Evans of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Salisbury, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer.

Karen was born in Towson, Maryland and graduated from Towson High School and Temple University. Rosalyn was the cherished daughter of Nancy Evans of Williamsport, Maryland and the late Evan Evans.

Karen is survived by her beloved sister Cathy Thompson and her niece Brenna Washington of Parkville, Maryland, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She leaves numerous friends at GracePoint Church in Portland, Texas and Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury, Maryland where she was very active.

"Roz" was known for her sense of style and her wit. Although she never had any children of her own, "Miss Rosalyn" tutored and mentored countless children and teens, several of whom stayed in touch with her for years.

A memorial service in Baltimore will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Roz's memory may be given to:
