Laura Marie Perales

Laura Perales, 45, took her first breath of Heaven on April 27, 2021, in Corpus Christi, TX. Laura was born to Trinidad Landeros and Antonio Perales on July 8, 1975 in Corpus Christi, TX. Laura was a graduate of Gregory-Portland High School where she was in the school band. Laura lived her life in the Gregory-Portland area where she made lots of friends. She will be remembered for her love of friends, cooking large meals, going out with her friends, but most importantly...her love of family. Laura was easily recognized at the local H-E-B where she worked for 19 years. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Laura is preceded in death by her grandparents; Francisca and Jose Landeros, and Estella Perales; Uncles Alfonzo Santos and Jose Landeros; and niece, Jazzlyn.

Laura is survived by her mother; Trinidad Rodriguez; step-father, Jesus Rodriguez; father Antonio Perales; children, Damien Contreas, and Jacklyn Perales-Solis; siblings, Jesse (Valerie) Rodriguez, Connie Perales, and Tanya (Joseph) Perry; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday April 30, 2021 at Grace Point Church located at 4755 Wildcat Dr. in Portland, TX. with a viewing beginning at 2:00pm and a prayer service to follow at 4:00pm.
