Lucinda Felan Obituary

Lucinda Michelle Felan left us to be with our Heavenly Father on July 9, 2024, at the age of 69. She has been reunited with her parents, Juan Francisco and Benita Felan, as well as her sister, Dianna Felan.

Lucinda (affectionately known as Cindy) was born on August 8, 1954, in San Antonio, TX. She graduated from Burbank High School in 1972. Cindy began her career with Southwestern Bell in San Antonio and a promotion transferred her to Arlington, TX. She had a strong work ethic and retired from AT&T in 2007, after decades of service.

Cindy had a passion for helping to heal others through massage therapy and went to great lengths to hone her craft, even traveling to Thailand and Costa Rica to learn new methodologies. Cindy loved animals and had a great fondness for her many cats. She could always be depended on to take in a feline companion without a home. She had a passion for the outdoors which included gardening, taking hikes on trails, walking in the park, and bird watching. Lucinda enjoyed traveling and throughout her life had the opportunities to visit places in Europe, Africa, Central America, Asia and all over the United States. Some of her favorite places were the Big Bend National Park, Spain and Costa Rica. She enjoyed gathering around a table with family and friends to partake in delicious meals made with love in her own kitchen or at dining establishments with excellent food and ambiance. Cindy never met a stranger and made many friends over her lifetime; she has always been blessed with long-lasting friendships which stood the test of time.

Lucinda was the mother of four children and Gma to five grandchildren. She had seven siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. Family was her heart and soul and she loved to celebrate many milestones and accomplishments with those near and dear to her.

Lucinda will be greatly missed by her children Felanna Davalos and her husband Patrick and their children, Danielle, Nikolas, and Olga Benita, Michele Tillman, Carla Tillman and her husband Patrick Navarrete, Arthur Tillman and his wife Leigh and their children, Isabella, and Michael, her siblings, Rosie Trevino, Juan Felan Jr., James Felan, Sandra Montoya, Felina Walzel, Leo Felan, their spouses, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A celebration of Lucinda's life will be announced at a later date.
