Margarita Martinez-Rodriguez 71 of Taft, Texas passed in Corpus Christi on June 7, 2024.

Margarita was in born in Sinton, Texas on February 23, 1953 to Antonio and Alice Elizondo.

She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio Elizondo and her sister Anita Elizondo.

Left to cherish the beautiful and treasured memories of Margarita is her husband, Joaquin Rodriguez, her children Antonio (Michelle) Martinez, Adam Martinez of Taft,
A.J (Brenda) Martinez of Portland, Jose (Esther) Sierra of Houston, Corey Sierra of Kennedy, her stepchildren Christina (Philip) Horton, Jacquelyn Rodriguez and Carlo Rodriguez. Margarita is also survived by her mother, Alice Elizondo of Portland, her siblings Juan Antonio (Maggie) Elizondo of Portland, Adela (Mando) Cruz of Taft, 22 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and several family and friends.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at immaculate conception Church in Taft, TX on June 13, 2024 at 9:30 AM. A funeral mass will follow immediately thereafter.  A private burial service is scheduled for a later time for her immediate family members.
