Mark A Blacketer

Mark Blacketer, 68, passed away on October 5, 2025, in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on June 20, 1957 in San Antonio, TX, to John and Lois Blacketer. Mark graduated from East Central High School in 1974 and married Annette Sherrill in 1977. The couple have 4 children, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

He started his career in the US Air Force in 1977 and retired as a Systems Analyst in 1994. He then worked as a mechanic for the City of Corpus Christi Storm Water Department and retired in 2020.

Mark enjoyed metalwork, carpentry, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Mark is survived by his wife of 48 years, Annette Blacketer; children Amanda Dunn (Jeremy "Jay"), Brandy Blacketer, Kimberly Blacketer, Matthew Blacketer; grandchildren Gabriella Dunn, Griffin Dunn, Wyatt Dunn; great grandchild Sage Fowler; and several siblings.
