Mark Sydney Meunier

Mark Sydney Meunier. 68, passed away on January 15, 2026, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Born in Sydney, Australia, Mark grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana, and eventually made Texas his home, living in Portland, Tomball and Port Aransas. A graduate of Brother Martin High School and Tulane University, Mark excelled in the engineering field and retired as a Vice President with Kiewit Offshore Services, a career that allowed him to travel the world-an experience he truly cherished.

Mark had a deep love for music and never missed the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (specifically the gospel tent), which he looked forward to every year. Known for his love of dogs, his fun loving nature and great sense of humor. He was famous for his dad jokes and classic dad dancing. He loved sharing bits of wisdom, much like his father, Pa, had done before him. His favorite place was the beach, where he found peace and joy spending time with friends.

Mark is survived by his brother, John, aka Jolly (Paula); his wife, Kimberly; his ex-wife and dear friend, PJ; and their children, Mistalina, Leslie, and Jessica (James). He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Jacob (Lyndsay), Heaven (Charis), Isabel, Sydney, Dominick, Nathan, Olivia, Jackson, and Justice; and his great-grandson, Carter.

He is further survived by his nephew and best buddy, Scott (Melissa); his nephew, Johnny; his nieces, Rachel and LeeMarie (Troy); his great-nephews, Braden and Weston; his great-niece, Alessandra; his brother-in-law, Ricky (Donna); step-daughter, Kasey and her children Kailynn, Cheyenne, Camryn, and Tyrnan; many Aussie cousins and wonderful close friends he considered family.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, John (Pa) and Norma (Mum); his brother, Stephen; and his sister, Donna.

Mark will truly be missed by the many lives he touched. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
