Mary Brulloths began her earthly journey on October 12, 1945.On January 31, 2026, after 80 years of being a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother, she was welcomed with a warm and loving embrace by our Heavenly Father as she returned to her eternal home.
Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Mary was lovingly adopted by Rafael and Juanita Almanza, who nurtured the compassionate and resilient spirit she carried throughout her life. She embodied quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and a deep tenderness that touched everyone blessed enough to know her.
Mary had a heartfelt appreciation for music, art, and history - the kinds of things that reveal the beauty in the world. But above all, it was her steadfast faith in God that guided her through every joy and every hardship. Her faith was her anchor, her comfort, and her constant source of hope and blessed assurance.
Mary married Marcelino Bernal Jr., and together, over 25 years, they welcomed five daughters into the world. Her love for her family was limitless - a love that shaped generations.
She is preceded in death by her infant daughters, Laurel and Lauren Bernal; her father, Rafael Almanza; her mother, Juanita Almanza; and her loving husband, Perry A. Brulloths.
Mary is survived by her daughters: Mary Helen Salinas, Robin Ruth Ritter, and Betty Elizabeth Bernal. Carrying forward her legacy are her grandchildren - Anthony P. Salinas, James E. Salinas, Nichole C. Ritter, Caylen M. Ritter and his wife Julia Ritter, Jeanette K. Salinas, Lauren H. Holderfer and her husband Anthony H. Holderfer, and Shannen Noel Ritter - along with her twelve great‑grandchildren, each one holding treasured memories of her gentle presence.
We honor her with the words of John 14:6:"Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Mary's spirit is not bound by time. It lives on in our hearts, in our stories, and in the generations shaped by her love. Until we meet again in glory, Ma - rest in heavenly peace.
