Michael Douglas Tubbs

Michael "Mike" Tubbs, 57, passed away August 12, 2024 unexpectedly from a short illness at his home in Corpus Christi, TX.

Michael was born on May 26th, 1967 in Dallas, Tx.

Michael was the youngest of 10 kids and grew up in Mississippi where he began his love of working on cars and his love of the country living. He left Mississippi at the age of 16 to go live with his maternal grandparents in Grand Prairie, Tx. He then when to work in the oilfield industry and traveled the world.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working on cars and building things with his hands. He loved to go fishing and having bonfires on the beach with family whenever he could.

Michael is survived by his wife Darla Morrow of Corpus Christi, TX, his brother Tony Koffer of Greenville, OH, his daughter Shannon Mary James of Golden Valley, Az, and numerous grandchildren.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, siblings, and a son.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
