Neil Zambrycki, 62, passed away on May 23, 2022, in Corpus Christi Texas after a sudden bout with cancer with his family by his side.
Neil was born on May 27, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA, to Henry Zambrycki and Mary [nee Coll] Zambrycki.
Neil graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia and went on to earn an Associate Degree from Del Mar College. He worked for many years as a respiratory therapist at Driscoll Childrens Hospital in the NICU and as a member of their transport team bringing the most critical babies safely into their care.
Neil was a lifelong Catholic who had an unfailing belief in God's love and salvation. Neil was an avid, sometimes outrageous, Eagles fan. He was a true dog lover and rescued and adopted many furry friends over the years. He enjoyed fitness activities especially long distance marathons and weight lifting. Some of his happiest childhood memories were fishing in local streams and waters with family and friends. But, he is most dearly remembered and missed as our precious brother, uncle and friend.
Neil is survived by his brother Greg (Kathy) Zambrycki, sister Karen (John) Bowen and nieces Brooke (Bob) Thorpe, Lauren Bowen and nephew Greg (Alicia) Zambrycki and three great nieces Katy, Kylie and Zoey.
Neil is preceded in death by his father and mother.
The service for Neil will be private.
Memorial donations can be made in Neil's name to the Humane Society.
