Norita Anne Caruthers Finney, 82, passed away on May 23, 2021, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Norita Caruthers Finney was born on May 3, 1939 in Fort Worth, TX to Rube Caruthers and Marvel Caruthers.
Norita graduated from San Marcos Baptist Academy in 1956. During Norita's life she enjoyed working in several industries. She was a highly sought after hair dresser, excelled as a designer seamstress, creating beautiful designs for her children, the public, and even the Canyon High School twirlers. Later in life, Norita enjoyed working with Sprint Corporation in the DFW area. Her favorite job, however, was as a puppy dog sitter. She loved and cared for everyone's fur baby as if it was her own.
Norita married Sidney Campbell in 1957. The couple had 2 children, R.C. Campbell of Tennessee and Deanna Borman of Texas.
Later Norita married Joel Finney in 1965. The couple had 3 children, JoAnn Finney, Joe Gus Finney, Julie Allcorn.
Norita enjoyed reading, puppy dogs, and the Dallas Cowboys. Norita will be remembered for her smile and the sound of her laughter.
Norita is survived by her children, R.C. Campbell(Linda), Deanna Borman(Phil Bob), JoAnn Finney, Joe Gus Finney(Eve), Julie Allcorn(Brad). Grandchildren: Nicole Campbell Loccissamo, J.D. Campbell, Hannah Campbell Loveall, Jeremy Rhynes(Anita), Amber Rhynes Estrada(Ruben), Aaron Rhynes, Mia Gryseels, Denton Finney, Allison Allcorn and Bradley Allcorn.
Norita is survived by 10 great grandchildren, and her sweet dog Sam.
