Olivia Castillo

Olivia "Bebe" Castillo, age 86, went to be with the Good Lord on November 9, 2021.

Olivia was born in Cuero, TX to Antonio Castillo and Guadalupe Sanchez. Olivia was married to Armando F. Lopez for 31 years. Her loving spouse preceded her in death on January 9, 2020.

Olivia is survived in death by her sons, Ronnie Vega (Gloria) of Taft and Robert :"Bobby" Vega Jr. (Mary) of Taft. Daughters, Dianne Guajardo of Taft and Debra Vaughan (Russell) of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Jose "Jodi" Castillo (Ester), Amador Sanchez and Fermin Sanchez, all of Taft. One sister, Felice Oneida Rivera (Ruben) of Portland. Olivia was blessed with eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Her devotion and tender compassion was always expressed towards her family and friends. Olivia dedicated herself throughout her life working for the VA San Patricio County Health Department and assisted in teaching evening bilingual classes. She lived a wonderful life and will be truly missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 17th from 9:30am to 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church, Taft, TX. Rosary at 11:00am with Mass to follow. Burial Services will be held at Palms Memorial Garden following Mass.
