Pamela Jane Purvis Graber, "Aunt Pam", went to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 20, 2021. Pam is survived by her son, Shane Graber (Arianna), of Vermont, niece Sha Vickery of Las Vegas, great-niece Ardennes, of Las Vegas, sister, Paula Purvis Sebestyen, of Las Vegas, and many, many friends. Pam was preceded in death by her loving parents, Georgia and Walter A. Purvis.
Pamela was a member of the First Baptist Church in Taft. Pam graduated from Taft High School in 1965. She then went on to work for the United States Postal System. Pam took great pride in her job and loved her postal family. Pam was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1983 which forced her to retire from the Postal System. Pam then decided to dedicate her time and efforts to helping the Lone Star Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She served the Corpus Christi Chapter by running their office, assisted with many MS Walks and MS Bike Rides, compiled monthly MS newsletters, and supported others diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Pam had one of the hearts of the best out there, one made out of pure gold and bigger than life itself. Pam will forever be remembered for her cheerful and positive attitude. Pam often said that she had a full and complete life and was very grateful for the many fond and loving memories of her friends and family. In lieu of a funeral or memorial service, Pam simply requested that each of her family and friends continue to care and love each other and pass goodness to those who need it.
