Philipe Rodriguez Obituary

Philipe Jose Rodriguez Sr, 31, a one of a kind, family loving man, born on August 14, 1990 in Corpus Christi, Texas was called by the Lord on June 24, 2022.

Philipe was met at Heaven’s gate by his daughter, Alexandria Jozette; Grandparents, Manuel and Margarita Rodriguez; uncles, Manuel, Mark, Gabriel, Jerry, Raymond and Gilbert; aunts, Cristina and Ida Lou; baby niece, Desirae Nicole; cousins, Monica, Christopher and baby cousin Jacob Gabriel.

Philipe's passion for welding began at 14 years of age where he learned alongside his father and Uncle Will at Wright Design. Philipe went on to graduate from W.B. Ray High School in 2008 and soon earned a Welding certificate from Del Mar College. As he began his career as a Miner and Welder, he experienced various opportunities throughout the United States that continued to make him the outstanding, talented, hardworking, dedicated and admired man that he was. Philipe was always proud of his work and the people around him but one memory he cherished most was when he established J&S Welding and Fabrication with his father and brother Serafin. Through the motivation of his mother and grandparents, Philipe continued to strive for success in all that he did. His laughter and smile were contagious, he was the light in every room and his fearlessness was unmatched. There wasn't a skill, trade, or job that he couldn't do. His work and ability was admired by everyone who crossed paths with him. He strived to mold Serafin and Albert to be STRONG individuals and in turn established a solid family foundation that impacted all. Philipe enjoyed weekend barbecues with family and friends, dancing to his favorite tunes, fishing, traveling, making everyone laugh and above all, spending time with his children. Throughout the memories and endless events, Philipe continued to be the center of everyones’ laughter through his hilarious stories and jokes for all to enjoy.

Philipe leaves behind his loving spouse Ashley to cherish their precious memories. Along with those precious memories, Philipe's legacy continues through his children Kailey Ann, Philipe Jose Jr and stepchildren Arabella, Jackson and Olivia. Philipe is survived by his parents Norma and Jose Maria Rodriguez; in laws, Amador and Bonnie Castillo; grandparents, Adolfo Guerrero and Aurora Costilla; brothers, Jose Adolfo, Serafin (Megan), Albert (Christina), Tony (Sonia), Rene; sister, Alicia; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and Elizabeth, Philipe Jr. and Alexandria’s mother, whom he LOVES dearly.
