Ramiro Hilburn Alaniz Jr,71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was born September 8, 1953 to Martha Hilburn and Ramiro Alaniz Sr. in Leming, Texas.
He married Julia Ramirez on April 30, 1970. He was a hard working, very responsible and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Ram loved spending time with family and fishihg. He was a very generous man willing to help anyone that was in need. His generosity reached many. He was loved by many people who came across his path.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Julia Alaniz, daughter Linda Alaniz and husband Mario Ramirez of Pasadena, Texas. Sons Ramiro Alaniz III of San Antonio, Texas, Rojelio Alaniz of Sealy, Texas, Juan M. Alaniz and wife Martha Alaniz of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ricky Alaniz of San Antonio, Texas and Elias Alaniz and Polly Alaniz of Uvalde, Texas. He is also survived by his sister Teresa Rivera of Bellville, Texas, 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Hernandez, step-father Frank Hernandez, his father Ramiro Alaniz Sr., his sister Mary Hernandez, his Father-in-law Filomeno Ramirez and Mother-in-law Ernestina Ramirez
Memorial Service will be held February 8,2025 in Charlotte, Texas.
