Raul Rivera, 70, of Corpus Christi, TX, died of liver cancer peacefully in his home holding the hand of his wife and surrounded by his daughters.

Raul was born to Gilberto and Refugia Rivera in Taft, TX, on April 24, 1953.

Raul loved his family, being surrounded by them. He loved music, playing his guitar, and singing. He left an impact on many people.

Raul was preceded in death by his father Gilberto Rivera.

He is survived by his mother Refugia Rivera, wife Brenda Rivera, and his 6 children; Raul Rivera Jr., Alfonso and Deborah Rivera, Mary Elena Rivera, Nikki Garner, Vetty Nunez and Ruben Mendoza and CeCelia and Robert Flores, 11 siblings, 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous niece's and nephew's and extended family.

A private family viewing will be held on Wednesday March 27, 2024 from 9am-10am followed by a Rosary. Church service to immediately follow Rosary at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 1302 Lantana St. Corpus Christi, TX 78407
