Robert Henry Maier

Robert Maier, 95, passed away on June 16, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Robert Maier was born on October 31, 1928 in New Orleans, LA, to Joseph Maier and Zita Maier.

Robert married Agnes in May 2004.

Robert had two children from his first marriage, Eric Maier, of San Francisco, CA and Robbie Maier, of Corpus Christi, TX. Robert also had ten step-children. Erin (Eric) Leonard, Michael Horan, Kate Horan, Nora(Keith) Pykkonen, Brendan Horan, Sean(Dawn) Horan, Dan Horan, Neil(Juli) Horan, Bridget Horan and Megan(Jason Burt) Horan and fourteen grandchildren.

Robert was best known for his love of finding a use for anything and everything. Robert enjoyed talking politics and religion with friends and family. And I think most of all, building and creating things. His pride and joy was the home he built himself from the ground up. He loved being on the water.

Robert proudly served in the United States Army from 1950 - 1952.

Robert is survived by his brother, Bill Maier of Corvallis,OR, his daughter Robbie Maier of Corpus Christi, his son Eric Maier of San Francisco, CA, and his nephew Loren Maier of Ozark, AR.

Robert is preceded in death by his father Joseph Maier, his mother Zita Maier, his loving wife Agnes Maier, his brothers Edward Maier and Frank Maier.

Service and Burial will be held at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi, TX. on July 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
