Robert Bruce Simon

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert "Bob" Bruce Simon, 63, of Corpus Christi, Texas, announce his passing on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Bob was born on March 1st, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Brookhaven High School in Columbus, Ohio in 1977. He relocated to Corpus Christi, Texas in 2006.

Bob met the love of his life, Terri, in 1979. They knew almost immediately they were soulmates and were married shortly after on October 13, 1979. He was a family man and in their nearly 43 years of marriage, he and his wife raised four strong and independent children and cherished 16 amazing grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy.

He loved the outdoors and always enjoyed a new adventure. Some of his greatest memories were of camping trips, family vacations on the beach, cookouts and amusement parks. He loved being on the water, either on a boat or a beach.

Bob was a lot of things to a lot of people, if you knew him you loved him. He was a big kid at heart, always joking around and making others laugh. He was strong, generous, caring and compassionate. He was a provider, a mentor, a son, brother, uncle, husband, father and grandfather.

He was a hard worker who was dedicated to his long-standing and successful career of 30 years with Furniture Row where he recently celebrated his retirement from management.

Bob was welcomed into heaven by his loving parents, Bruce and Sandy Simon, as well as his granddaughter, Paige.

Left to cherish his memory, are his wife, Teresa "Terri" Simon, his children, Christina Simon, Michelle (Scott) Sensenich, Jennifer Simon, and Ryan (Shana) Simon, his grandchildren, Jonathan, Chloe, Krissa, Kaelynn, Logan, Kameron, Madison, Kaleb, Dylan, Connor, Abie, Ana, Krissy, Zander, and Jaxson, his sister, Brenda Tuli, his nephews, Kadin and Zane, his aunts, Laura (Ed) Dickendasher and Debbie Zales, many friends and his fur baby, Tessa, who is simply lost without her dad.....but aren't we all.
