Rocky Chacon, 47, passed away on February 20, 2023, at his home in Aransas Pass, TX.

Rocky was born on March 16, 1975 in San Antonio, TX, to parents Nick and Rita Chacon. After graduating high school in 1993, Rocky began his career as a welder and became well known for his expertise in gate operators and access control. In 2004, Rocky and Elise founded ER Innovations, Inc. Together, the couple spent the next 19 years turning the company into a highly successful business that operated all over South and Central Texas. Rocky was entrepreneurial at heart and had a gift for making deals, and turning ideas into successful business ventures.

Rocky and Elise Vogt Chacon were married in Boerne, Texas in 2005. The couple had 2 children, Damon and Case Chacon. Rocky also considered Jasper Young one of his own sons.

Rocky was a barrel-chested, rugged outdoorsman who was best known for his love of Texas, and genuinely enjoyed sharing the beauty and adventure of the Texas Coast with friends and family. Rocky loved being on the water, helping anyone in need, and spending "Coast Time" with those he loved. Rocky was passionate about teaching others, and some of his most cherished memories were made teaching others how to hunt and fish, especially his son Case.

Rocky is survived by his wife, Elise Chacon; son, Case Chacon; son, Damon Chacon and granddaughter Rosalynn Salinas; son, Jasper Young, granddaughter Claire Young, and grandson Carter Young; parents Nick and Rita Chacon; siblings Nick, Crystal, Matt, Elijah, and Naomi, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and out-laws, all of whom he loved dearly.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rocky's life on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm at his home in Aransas Pass. The celebration will be a casual, come and go as you please, Rocky-style BBQ. Food will be provided, please bring your favorite adult beverage if desired, and favorite memory of Rocky to share with friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1200 S. Houston Street, Aransas Pass, TX 78336.
